Central Film School is a film school based in South West London, running undergraduate and
postgraduate programmes as well as a portfolio of non-accredited courses. Founded in 2008,
Central Film School has provided students from all over the world with the tools needed to
become professionals in the film industry.
Our mission is to give independent voices the skills and knowledge needed to tell their stories
through film. Our 'practical-first' approach, allows us to train filmmakers and screenwriters to work in the industry as soon as they graduate, both in the UK and internationally.
- Our Undergraduate offerings available are: BA Practical Filmmaking, BA (Hons)
Screenwriting, BA (Hons) Acting for Screen and Integrated Foundation Year. - Our Postgraduate offerings available are: MA Filmmaking and MA Screenwriting (online)
- Our Short Course offerings are: Introduction to Filmmaking, Introduction to Screenwriting,
Introduction to Directing Fiction, Directing Actors, Certificate in Practical Filmmaking,
Certificate in Independent Filmmaking andCertificate in Advanced Independent
Filmmaking.
Our accelerated two year undergraduate degrees allow students to gain an equivalent degree to one achieved in three years elsewhere.
