UAL's 12 Days of AI returns

What is the 12 Days of AI?

The 12 Days of AI is a series of asynchronous activities and discussion prompts designed to help you consider ethics and uses of AI, explore a range of AI tools, and connect with other participants.

Whether you're curious about how AI works and its relevance in creative education or you've already experimented with AI and want to dive deeper into its possibilities and limitations, then the 12 Days of AI is for you.

Who are the activities for?

While anyone can participate, this series is directed at Arts and Design Higher Education professionals.

What will the activities cover?

  • How AI tools could be used in a teaching and learning context

  • The potential and limitations of using these AI tools

  • Ethical considerations around using AI

  • How to use and apply some AI tools.

When is the activity series?

The course is entirely self-directed and a new blog post will be shared each day at 10am London time M-F starting Wednesday 28 November and ending Thursday 12 December 2024.

How do I access the activity series?

Each day, we will publish a post on our website. You will be given a small task with instructions each day, which you can do at any time, and be able to respond to others in a discussion space.

Does UAL offer a certification for completion of this activity?

No, UAL does not offer any certification or award for this course. It is purely for exploring tools, discussing with peers and skill building.

Who do I contact if I have any questions?

Please email teachingexchange@arts.ac.uk for the attention of Hannah or Roshni.
