Call for Papers: 38th German Congress for Art History (Munich, 25–28 February 2026)

The German Association for Art History, together with the Zentralinstitut für Kunstgeschichte (ZI) and the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU Munich), will organise and host the 38th German Congress for Art History. The congress will take place in Munich from 25 to 28 February 2026 under the motto “knowing”. Applications for individual papers can now be submitted.

We would like our colleagues to join us for an intense discussion. Therefore, we are requesting contributions from all fields of work and professional groups in the areas of art history and related disciplines, from people at any stage of their career and from Germany as well as abroad.
