Creative PEC and Work Advance’s Creative Industries Skills Audits provides groundbreaking evidence for the pressing skills priorities, challenges and shortages employers say are hindering economic growth potential.

Many of the skills gaps highlighted map directly onto art, design and creative media curricula across technical, production, design and craft skills and related transversal skills including problem-solving, adaptability, collaboration and sustainability.

The report’s call to strengthen links between industry, government and education, improve upskilling, diversify talent pipelines and embed transversal skills in further and higher education have clear implications for creative institutions in redrawing the skills map.

This event will explore practice innovations, policy interventions, partnership collaborations and beyond in response to this evolving picture through four member presentations.

Event programme to be confirmed.
