Sandra joined CHEAD in 2018 and is responsible for the development and communication of CHEAD’s corporate strategy and advocacy, developing relationships and engagement with external stakeholders and lobbying on behalf of members. Sandra has a track record in higher education, stakeholder engagement and marketing, developing policy, securing collaborative partnerships and ensuring effective alignment with our strategic goals.

Joanie joined CHEAD in 2024. She is responsible for the management and running of the organisation, membership recruitment, management of CHEAD’s network of members and delivery of membership activities. Joanie has worked in higher education and the arts for over fifteen years, with experience in member and project management, partnership working and stakeholder engagement.
Jessica joined CHEAD as Programme Administrator in 2026. She provides support for the CHEAD Directors and Trustees and is responsible for all aspects of administration surrounding CHEAD’s programme of events. Jessica has worked in the Higher Education sector for 20 years, primarily in administrative, management and student services roles, including five years in Detroit.
