CHEAD is issuing a call for applications for the role of CHEAD Research Alliance Strategy Group members for its Research Alliance. Two new Trustees and co-chairs of the Research Alliance, Professor Jake Kaner and Professor Sunil Manghani, were appointed in July 2020. Both intend to bring together a diverse and broad based group of research leaders to form the Research Alliance Strategy Group that will serve the wider CHEAD Research Alliance.
The Research Alliance aspires to influence policy through research, practice and advocacy, keeping curiosity and exemplary arts processes at its core.
The Research Alliance are keen to nurture research leadership, research-curious staff and early career researchers to broaden the scope of research, to generate new insight and to inform teaching, research and professional practice.
The Research Alliance aims to be a vibrant, well-connected and confident community of practice for new ideas and methods, with no limiting boundaries, a reputation for boldness and a growing international profile.
CHEAD would welcome applications from members of the CHEAD Research Alliance to form a Research Alliance Strategy Group comprised of between 8-10 members chaired by Research Alliance co-chairs Professor Jake Kaner and Professor Sunil Manghani. We value and encourage different perspectives to be included in the co-creation of our culture, plans and programmes and joining the strategy group would be a great opportunity for your unique voice to be heard.
If selected, applicants would be asked to join up to four meetings a year to be held online and to contribute to the work of the Research Alliance, its programme of events and through hosting events, or contributing to the creation of resources which would be co-ordinated by CHEAD’s two Directors.
Members of the Research Alliance Strategy Group are asked to give their time to CHEAD pro bono. It is expected that their home institutions will normally underwrite any travel costs incurred if members travel to participate in any Research Alliance events.
