Edinburgh College of Art, located within the University of Edinburgh’s College of Arts, Humanities and Social Science, is home to the Subject Areas of Architecture & Landscape Architecture, Art, Design, History of Art and Music, as well as research institutes and centres including Design Informatics, Scottish Documentary Institute, OPENspace and Acoustics and Audio Group. Uniquely, ECA brings together and entangles the academic rigour, research power, inventive methods and creative practices of disciplines originating within an ancient and world-leading university together with those stemming from a comprehensive art school.
