Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design is the ‘Creative Hub’ at the centre of the University of Dundee. We are a community of practitioners aiming to make a difference in the world – to society, culture and the economy – through creative thinking and making. Our graduates are encouraged to be entrepreneurial and visionary thinkers informed by the top quality research and practice of our staff. We are deeply embedded in the local community of the City of Dundee, but our reach is global through the city’s status as a UNESCO City of Design and our valuable partnerships with creative organisations such as Dundee Contemporary Arts and V&A Dundee. We have a strong reputation for interdisciplinarity both within research and within teaching, offering several courses which are collaborations with other Schools in the University such as Humanities, Medicine, Health Sciences and Life Sciences.
