To progress our strategic commitments within our Equity, Diversity and Inclusivity policy, CHEAD has completed a programme of work with Shades of Noir who are leading on a higher education arts sector programme. This programme included a series of workshops with our Board of Trustees and Directors and a review of our suite of governance documents including our constitution.
The Board of Trustees have considering the recommendations and as a result, additional resources have been agreed to invest in the appointment of an EDI expert to implement the recommendations from the consultancy review and to support an EDI network to benefit members.
