I am Head of Academic Planning in the School of Fine Art and have previously held leadership roles at the University of Huddersfield, University of Cumbria, Middlesex University, York St John University and Dartington College of Arts. Gaining an MA Contemporary Arts from Nottingham Trent University and my PhD from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design, University of Dundee, I have developed an international research profile in performance art and curatorial practice after new media. In addition to being a Trustee of CHEAD, I am also a committee member of GLAD. As a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA), I am committed to excellence and innovation in teaching, learning and research and supporting graduates with their developing practice and career.
