The Council for Higher Education in Art and Design (CHEAD) is delighted to announce that Kingston University has been selected, as part of a competitive process, to host the CHEAD Annual Conference 2023.
Set against the recently launched Future Skills report, the agenda within the conference will be to develop and embed aspirations at a cross-institutional level, and enabling sector engagement with external stakeholders, industry, and future employers. The conference theme will contain three interwoven strands of discussion:
- Centralising Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in everything we do
- Sustainability: and the creation of sustainable futures
- Future Skills: Proposing change, challenging educational policies and securing futures
The proposed theme of the Annual Conference aligns with the CHEAD Strategic Plan and Mission to inform, influence and initiate wider policy as appropriate at regional, national and international level and advocate the value and agency of art and design higher education and our role in enhancing cultural, economic and societal impact.
More information, including a full conference theme paper, will be available in the autumn via the CHEAD website.
CHEAD members receive one free place at the Annual Conference with registration opening in December.
